How much more money do I make by becoming a Gold Medallion Florist member vs. ‘wire services’?
What about monthly fees and dues?
There are no monthly fees or dues. The membership fee is $499 and this covers you for 12 full months, which includes 2 directories (one is sent immediately after you become a member and one when your listing is printed in the next edition). With ‘wire services’, there are various costly fees and the monthly dues are never ending.
What percentage of the order do I get?

How many hits/visitors does your web site receive?
We average over 500,000 hits per month on the web with the majority of these hits looking for a shop by typing in a city and state or searching internationally.
How do I make changes to my shop's web pages?
Log into the Members' Area https://www.800send.com/members/ using your username and password. Choose the “Add Or Change the ‘About Us’ Information In Your Listing” and type in your changes. You may also customize the appearance of your web page by choosing from our pre-defined templates or you can custom create your web page from scratch.
How long does it take after any changes to be reflected on my web page?
Changes made to your web page will be reflected immediately. Make sure you save your changes and LOG OUT of the Members' area after you are done editing your web page.
How do I pay a member florist I send an order to?
Because we’re not a ‘wire service,’ it is up to each shop how they wish to process the payment. However, most of our members, when calling out an order to another shop, either use our “Gold Medallion” credit card, their own shop or personal credit card, or the customer’s credit card.
Can I keep a percentage of the order that I send to another member florist?
Yes! You and the other florist determine this. Most of our members agree to an 80/20 split for florist-to-florist orders.
How do I track how much business this advertising has generated for my store?
Since you collect all your orders directly from the customer or other florist members, simply ask them where they got your shop’s information from. When you send an order to another florist, be sure to tell them that you are a Gold Medallion Florist
What can I use the Email Campaign Manager for?
You can use the Email Campaign Manager to send out one email to multiple customers. The email campaign manager is only available to Gold Medallion Members and is included in your membership package. If you conduct monthly or holiday specials, this is a very cost effective way to advertise to customers without paying for postage.
How much does it cost to send an E-bouquet?

How do I apply for the new Gold Medallion Florist credit card?

How often do you print a new directory? Who gets a directory?
Directories are printed every Fall and Spring. All of our current members get a directory automatically mailed to them.
How do I process an international flower order?
Go to our ‘Find a Florist’ web page at http://www.800send.com/findlorist/ and select the country that you want. Contact the florist shop closest to the area to be delivered to. If the country you want is not listed, contact International Florist via email at pattbanas@aol.com - They are able to send flowers worldwide and are an active member of the Gold Medallion Florist Network.
